Our Growth

FBC Device is based on the pioneering spinal implant concept invented by esteemed Professor Finn Bjarke Christensen. 

Finn Bjarke Christensen has been involved in spinal research for more than 20 years. Over the years his research has been rewarded with several prestigious international awards. This has also let to a significant international network to researchers, doctors and the medical implant industry.

In early 2005, he founded the company, FBC Device. With initial financial support in place, FBC Device was established and initial patents filed in late 2005. In December 2010, the European patent was granted and further funding raised.

In August 2011 we were granted our US patent. Today, we are in the progress of designing, testing, achieving regulatory approvals, and activating clinical trial operations.
